TEA HOUSE HIKES IN LAKE LOUISE The hike to the Tea House starts on the shores of Lake Louise near the Fairmont Chateau Hotel and climbs uphill on a wide switch-backed path for 3.6 kilometres (2.2 miles). It is rated as a moderate trail and takes most people around 1 to 2 hours, more or less depending on fitness level. The elevation gain is 400 metres (1,312 feet). SULPHUR MOUNTAIN

Sulphur Mountain, named for the two sulphurous hot springs found on its lower slopes, will amaze you with awe-inspiring 360-degree views of six mountain ranges, the Bow Valley, and the town of Banff. You can take a scenic gondola ride to the summit at 2,281 metres (7,486 feet) or if you are feeling energetic, hike all the way to the top. Climb a bit farther to the Cosmic Ray Station and the VISITOR CENTRE UPDATE We are thrilled to share that the Banff Avenue visitor centre is now open. Come by and see the renovations Parks Canada undertook while the building was closed. The new look has been designed with the visitor in mind, getting all they will want and need from one desk.

JOHNSTON CANYON

Johnston Canyon is one of the most popular destinations in Banff National Park, and for good reason; it is a place of dramatic natural beauty accessible to most. TUBING IN BANFF, AB

The gradual hills, consistent snowfall, and mountainous backdrops of Banff and Lake Louise make for an idyllic tubing destination for everyone to enjoy. Snow tubing is a whole lot of fun. It is similar to tobogganing, however instead of having to trek to the top of a hill after riding down, a plush towing system will do the hard work for

you.
