TWO APPRAISAL DISTRICT EMPLOYEES FIRED Two former employees of Bandera County’s Central Appraisal District who complained to the district’s board last month about harassment and other improprieties by district administrators have been fired despite their requests to the board for protection from termination decisions or future acts of retaliation. AUSTIN SMALL INDICTED ON MURDER, RELATED CHARGES Austin Small indicted on murder, related charges. Austin Ray Small, 25, of Bandera was indicted March 9 by a grand jury on charges of murder, bodily injury, endangering a child and two counts of deadly conduct, according to the Bandera County Sheriff’s office.
