The secret ingredient is the Black Pepper Boursin.It stabilizes the queso and that is what helps it go back together after it gets cold. I’ve used the Garlic Herb Boursin before and it works, but you need to add a lot of pepper and doctor it a bit so it doesn’t taste like

garlic and herb.

Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until beef is fork tender. Add the carrots and cook for another 30 minutes more. In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch and water. Add to stew and bring to a bubble. Add balsamic vinegar. Check for seasoning, add more salt and pepper as needed. ONE PAN HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN Simply marinate the chicken breasts in the honey mustard sauce while the oven preheats to 400° F. Pour it all into a casserole dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165° F. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. This creates a crispy,

golden brown sear.

INDIAN SPICED DRUMSTICKS 12 chicken drumsticks. In a small bowl, mix together yoghurt and honey. Add all of the spices to the bowl. Add the drumsticks to a Ziploc bag. Roll them in powdered sugar, regular sugar, chocolate sprinkles, and cocoa. They look so pretty on a plate, like little jewels. These make a great cookie swap treat or a hostess gift. Okay, now I’m going to look around for my gloves (why do I feel like I spend half of my days looking for gloves and mittens) and brave the cold at the parade.

BLACK BEAN SLIDERS

In a large bowl, combine everything except the corn and black beans. Mix well. Add the black beans and corn. Mash with a fork until still chunky. If the black bean mixture is too dry, add the reserved black bean liquid a little at a time until it is like a thick paste. Let the mixture rest in the fridge for a few minutes. FROG COMMISSARY CARROT CAKE To make the cake, preheat oven to 350°. Spray (3) 8-inch with baking spray. In a large bowl, whisk oil and sugar until smooth. Set aside. In another bowl, sift together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add half of the dry ingredients into the sugar

mixture.

BLUE CHEESE AND ROASTED APPLE MASHED POTATOES Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes. The apples will be very soft. Boil the potatoes in a large pot of water. Cook the potatoes until a knife comes out easily. Drain the potatoes and put in a large bowl. Mash with a potato masher, ricer, beaters, whatever your weapon of choice is. The only thing better than a pot of beef stew on a fall night is a pot of beef stew simmering away while you enjoy a lazy afternoon.

THE BEST QUESO EVER

The secret ingredient is the Black Pepper Boursin.It stabilizes the queso and that is what helps it go back together after it gets cold. I’ve used the Garlic Herb Boursin before and it works, but you need to add a lot of pepper and doctor it a bit so it doesn’t taste like

garlic and herb.

SWEDISH VISITING CAKE Swedish Visiting Cake Ingredients // Since Swedish Visiting Cake is meant to be an impromptu treat, this cake comes together in less than a half an hour and also has incredibly simple ingredients. CHERRY ALMOND COBBLER The nice people at Sam’s Club asked me if I would be interested in participating in their “Mouthwatering Cherry Cobbler Challenge”. I happen to love cherry cobbler and a challenge. I also happen to think that I have a pretty fantastic recipe, if-I-do-say-so-myself. They were kind enough to send me a Sam’s Club membership (can you believe this was my first time in a Sam’s Club?), a ITALIAN MERINGUE BOILED ICING (7 MINUTE FROSTING) Italian meringue (also known as boiled icing) is a fluffy, white frosting for cake and other desserts.It is an incredibly easy 7 minute frosting, The snow white color makes it perfect for wedding cakes and desserts for winter holidays. FROG COMMISSARY CARROT CAKE Frog Commissary Carrot Cake with Pecan Filling and Cream Cheese Frosting is the most incredible carrot cake recipe you will ever eat. This cake goes a long way, it’s very rich! CHICKEN WITH BOURSIN MUSHROOM SAUCE Top Tips. If you use bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts, there will be extra fat from the skin. Make sure to remove all but 1 Tablespoon of the fat before adding the mushrooms and butter. If you can’t find Boursin cheese, an equal amount of Laughing Cow or Herbed Goat cheese would be a great substitute. Use any of your favorite fresh herbs for garnish, such as tarragon, basil, dill or chives.
