I am 7 weeks and 3 days pregnant but I have always said that once I have a baby I would teach either girl or boy baby sign language. It has so many benefits and my main interest is for a smoother communication channel, as to being aware of the baby needs and desires and avoid tantrums as much as possible. Cat looks like you are a cat, outlining yourwhiskers.
OUTSIDE - BABY SIGN LANGUAGE SIGN USAGE. Teach the opposites of inside and outside together, as the contrast between the two words helps illuminate the meaning for your baby. You can practice by making a game of stepping inside and outside the doorway as you do each sign. OCEAN - BABY SIGN LANGUAGE Ocean. Make the baby sign for ocean by taking both hands, with palms facing down, and pushing them forward while swooping up and down, as if your hands are waves. You may also opt to make the sign for water before you sign the waves of the ocean. PLAY VIDEO. BLOCK - BABY SIGN LANGUAGE Block or Blocks in baby sign language looks like you are outlining the sides of a block. You start by taking your open hands parallel and a few inches apart. To sign puzzle, form each of your two hands in the shape of the ASL letter 'U' (that is, out of a fist, you stick up your index and middle fingers together). Then make the tips of both 'U' hands touch, one on top of the other, then vice versa, as you move both hands in an invisible chain from left to right, as if you are linkingthe chain.
FOREST - BABY SIGN LANGUAGE Forest. Forest is signed like tree, but multiplied. Make the tree sign, then glide your dominant 'tree' arm as it sways with the wind and sits atop your non-dominant 'ground' arm from one side of your body to the other. PLAY VIDEO. FLASH CARD. OIL - BABY SIGN LANGUAGE - COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR BABY Oil. To sign oil, hold your flat, open non-dominant hand in front of you, lying on its pinkie side and with palm facing in.
