A CHRISTMAS IN JULY 40TH DINNER A Christmas in July 40th Dinner. July 23, 2020 by Beth 6 Comments. We recently hosted a 40th birthday for our friend Nicki from Cottonwood & Co who more than likely wanted and had planned to be somewhere way more glamorous for her 40th (I think Italy was planned, or maybe New Zealand) but as we know, 2020 had different plans for us all. MAKING IT BETTER: JAM DROPS 1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees . Sift the flour and add into the mixing bowl. 2. Throw all other ingredients into the bowl. 3. Turn your mixer onto speed 4 for approx. 1 minute until the dough is combined. 4. Roll into small 3-4cm balls and place onto lined bakingtray.
MID WEEK DINNS: JAMIE OLIVER STICKY KICKING CHICKEN Dressing: Olive oil, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce. : First up you take a long sheet of baking paper and sprinkle straight onto it a decent amount of chinese 5 spice powder, salt and pepps. : Whack the chicken thighs onto the spices, salt and pepper the top of it and turn over to coat both sides. : Fold the excess baking paper over the top of it JUST CALL ME BEV: ASIAN MINCED CHICKEN Add chicken mince and brown {or in this case white} off the mince. A bit of liquid will appear but that’s fine just adds to the sauce. Then add the sauce. In my case last night this was when I realised that I was completely out of soy sauce and chili sauce which are kind of essential so just ignore me and add your sauces in.
