b. 1953. Figurative painter, sculptor and draughtsman Peter Wegner received a postgraduate diploma in fine arts from the Philip Institute of Technology in 1988. Wegner famously painted his friend Graham Doyle more than 100 times since they met in art school in the 1980’s. He has held solo exhibitions in Sydney and Melbourne and his work has GREG JOHNS | AUSTRALIAN GALLERIES Greg Johns has worked as a full-time sculptor for 38 years and has completed significant commissions throughout Australia, as well as in Singapore, Spain, New Zealand, Korea, England and Ireland. Since 1990 the main focus of his practise has been to develop an approach to making sculpture which is both conceptually and form-wise‘Australian

Heather Shimmen. b. 1957. Expressionistic and figurative printmaker Heather Shimmen was born in Melbourne and completed a Bachelor of Fine Art at RMIT in 1978. Last week, Jimmy Rix’s monumental 18 metre-long sculpture, Road Kill, was installed in Forbes, NSW as part of a major commission. ‘ People often complain about the damage done to cars after hitting a kangaroo when travelling. JIMMY RIX – ROAD KILL Jimmy Rix – Road Kill. In News March 24, 2021. Last week, Jimmy Rix’s monumental 18 metre-long sculpture, Road Kill, was installed in Forbes, NSW as part of a major commission. ‘ People often complain about the damage done to cars after hitting a kangaroo when travelling. Have we stopped to think about this from a kangaroo’spoint of view?

Heather Shimmen. b. 1957. Expressionistic and figurative printmaker Heather Shimmen was born in Melbourne and completed a Bachelor of Fine Art at RMIT in 1978. Shimmen has held solo exhibitions in Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide. Her work has been included in numerous group shows, including exhibitions at the National Gallery of Australia GREG JOHNS | AUSTRALIAN GALLERIES Greg Johns has worked as a full-time sculptor for 38 years and has completed significant commissions throughout Australia, as well as in Singapore, Spain, New Zealand, Korea, England and Ireland.
