The Cleve Carney Museum of Art and McAninch Arts Center will be presenting the award-winning Tres Fridas Project in the newly appointed lobby exhibition space. The Tres Frida’s project was created by Reveca Torres and Mariam Pare, two artists paralyzed by MUSIC FRIDAYS @ NOON The COD music faculty created Music Fridays @ Noon to showcase student, faculty, alumni and guest artists in a free, accessible daytime series of music performances and related events. The series is open to the entire COD community as a place where a broad spectrum of music is on display. Concerts are approximately one hour in length. FRIDA KAHLO: TIMELESS EXHIBITION Presented by the Cleve Carney Museum of Art and the McAninch Arts Center at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL, this comprehensive presentation of the life and works of the artist Frida Kahlo will feature 26 original pieces as well as an immersive historical exhibit that provides a framework of the life, circumstances and events that led to Kahlo becoming one of the most important SUPPORTING THE ARTISTS IN TONIGHT’S PERFORMANCE.
