But is there a real need for these units, which are so tiny they can sit on a countertop? Some don't believe the potential market share is much larger than the machines themselves. THE IAD: FORGING THE WAY FORWARD FOR THE ATM| COMMENTARY The IAD: Forging the way forward for the ATM. In the decades since the introduction of the ATM, independent ATM deployers have played a constant and expanding role, one that grows increasingly important as banks begin to partner with IADs to extend their reach and efficiency. A long time ago, 50 years to be exact, a bank installed the first ASTROS' MINUTE MAID PARK GOING CASHLESS The entire ballpark is now a cashless venue for the season.
