FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY ASOLO CONSERVATORY The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training is a three-year graduate program culminating in a Master of Fine Arts degree. Only twelve students are chosen each year from the thousands who audition nationwide to work in a program that combines rigorous classroom training with guest artist workshops and professional productionexperience.

RAGTIME | ASOLO REPERTORY THEATRE It’s the dawn of the 20th Century in New York a time of enormous change, of new ideas, and everyone is moving to the music of ragtime. This epic Tony Award winning musical depicts the struggles, successes, hopes and dreams of a white, upper-middle class family in New Rochelle, an African-American musician and his girlfriend in Harlem, and a Jewish immigrant and his daughter on the Lower COMING TO THE THEATRE Theatre tells a story. Theatre has the power to move us emotionally. Theatre conveys ideas through images, sounds, movement, and symbols, as well as words. It is okay to leave the theatre with questions about meaning, with perceptions and ideas that vary from those of your friends, with emotional connections that may have a unique personalimpact.
