ARDUINO BASED SMART CAR SYSTEM - "CAR-DRIVER" INTERACTION SYSTEM In this video I will show you the smart car system I designed and developed with Arduino. It's a "car-driver" interaction system which with the use of sensors can trace whether the driver is wearing his seatbelt during driving. If not, then the car will notify the driver with a voice message. Also, it can detect if there is a passenger on the car and notify him to wear his seatbelt if he's not already wearing it. Remember that it's very important to always wear yourseatbelt!
A sensor is used to detect if there's an open car door, sometime we forget one door opened, so the system will alert us with a voice message to stop and close that door. By using voice commands we can control the lights and the left/right car indicators. Indicators will automatically turned off after sevenseconds. The
system has also a park assist function that can be activated via voice command or automatically from the reverse gear signal. The distance from the rear vehicle or obstacle will be printed on small display in centimeters. By reading the light with a photoCell can automatically turn on lights when it gets darker.
