Famished for lack of food, a man was carried away and upward to the highest mountain peak overlooking the world. There He was taunted, ridiculed, and tested. True grit is beheld one dark lonely night in a place known as the Garden of Gethsemane, where blood dripped from every pore. There, justice was subordinated to mercy.

A peace then came. Engulfed my soul. A light drew ever near. The ripples of love that spread out. From a treasure that seems lost. Will make one much, a richer man. The gain is worth the cost. Earthly treasures sought in life. Will never cross the veil. “A LIST OF DAILY MUNDANE ACTIVITIES” 5. “A List of Daily Mundane Activities” (They often supersede spiritual activities.) Doing homework, or studying for class. Eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I would hike a mountain, hunt a deer, camp and fish with glee! If the Sabbath day were the Sabbath hour, how empty I would be! For in my own self serving life, I would lose eternal keys. If the Sabbath day were the Sabbath hour, how sad I would be! For I would have to carry my sins, and the Savior never please.

When partners in love become a lighthouse to each other, the beauty of marriage takes on deeper meanings. A spouse, through prayer, can often become that guiding light that leads to the warmth and security of a safe harbor for all!

A column of light, a miracle to witness, God's pure gift, an infant daughter, comes to sight! The perfect child, in dreams she sleeps. Soft illumination, a parent's hopes complete! With eyes well focused, on one so dear, No moment more tender, as now she is here! Stunning ringlets, and curls breathtaking! Precious lips closed, appearing to

A trial with no foundation, a conviction without a cause. Stood Jesus before Pilot, as they broke the Jewish law. In silence there He waited, no guile escaped His lips. The vicious crowd it shouted, "Administer the whip!" The painful stripes and lashes, that cracked

across His back.

A battle raged in heaven, a fight for every soul. Thunder rumbled, and lightening struck, a banner hoisted high! "Self rule! Liberty! Freedom!" For which many spirits died. One third the host of heaven, perished that dreadful day. Eternal kingdoms forever lost, the vengeful spirits paid. Condemned dark souls, who fought against, and

Love's light, dancing in his eyes. Curled lips masking, the chuckle inside. Words that lifted, and healed, and pleased. Troubled souls, now appeased. Warmth and comfort, encircles today, Those most loved, whose time was to stay. Quietly and humbly, he showed the way. To an eternal home, not far away. Faith far reaching, touching the clouds!

When this second phase of our eternal existence is complete, it surely will have destroyed much of the earth historical population. We will be judged by God of our words, thoughts, deeds. A sigh. The boulders of fear, that she could not bear. A hand on her shoulder, removed each with prayer. Through life's hardest trials; our wells they run dry. The living water it fills them. Renewed strength, "to try!" And so the peaks high, she approached daily with care. Knowing her Father, would always be there.

An unblemished lamb sacrificed. The destroying angel, who was stayed. In a quiet upper room in Jerusalem. Candles and oil lamps dimly lit. It was the evening. The Lamb of God, twelve apostles, they gathered to sit. Worshiping softly, a prayer offered with grace. Followed by hymns, the Spirit they embraced. A table, with white woven linen.

A PLACE TO PONDER

Gratitude for light (physical, and spiritual) is the "pearl of wisdom" hidden within the poem, "If There Were No Light." The scriptures teach us that Jesus Christ is the light in the darkness! Through Him, we find hope, comfort, and understanding! "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall WELCOME TO "A PLACE TO PONDER!" MISSION AND PURPOSE STATEMENT: _"To all those who love God and seek His glory, may your visits to this place bring whisperings of wisdom, promptings of peace, and reverent revelations! May you find enrichment to your soul, enlightenment of your spiritual intellect, strengthening in your faith and testimony, and an increase in your love towards God and your

fellow beings!"_

A place where you can spend time with God and the Spirit; praying, listening, feeling, thinking, pondering, and learning. You are invited to visit this place as often as you may wish! Consider it your refuge from the storm, a safe shelter, your private sanctuary. This is a place where you can regularly come to commune with Him, and embrace truths that bring eternal joy and happiness. "A Place To Ponder" will make you feel good!
