Gather your materials for building the shape – corrugated cardboard, one TP roll and an egg carton. 2. Measure 1 and 3/4 inches from one end of the TP roll and mark a line. Cut as shown- make a straight cut from the longer side to the line and then around the

It occurred to me that maybe the merry wobbler sewing pattern could be modified to make a hen – and it can! Of course they need nesting boxes too and I created a little template and tutorial on how to make the box and modify the wobbler.

THE HEXIE PROJECT

It’s a perfect plan, here’s why: You can do it in bed, all you need are some scraps, the most basic sewing ability and paper. Plus it has a calming effect, for me anyway. THE MISS THISTLE SOCIETY the miss thistle society. Create a world for your tiny rag doll. Make her some mismatched china or a little jacket and hat. And of course she needs a hearth and a cozy bed with hand me down quilts for her little home in the forest. PICNIC BUGS : A FREE AND EASY SEWING PATTERN FOR A SILLY Pin the two body pieces with the right sides together and sew all around the body. Pin two pairs of wings with the right sides together and sew – leave open as shown. 4. Clip little notches all around the body and wings being careful not to cut the seam. MINIATURE DISH TUTORIAL : MAKE TINY TEACUPS AND PLATES Use a toothpick to press the clay against the thread. Gently arrange the handle and then leave this undisturbed until dry. Completely undisturbed – step away from the cup. This is the magic part – apply a little white glue to the handle and spread a MERRY WOBBLERS : PDF PATTERN Make a a cheerful little bird and nest. This is a downloadable PDF sewing pattern with 19 pages (including pattern sheets) and is about 6

Gather your materials for building the shape – corrugated cardboard, one TP roll and an egg carton. 2. Measure 1 and 3/4 inches from one end of the TP roll and mark a line. Cut as shown- make a straight cut from the longer side to the line and then around the

PAPER MACHE BOAT PATTERN Hello Ann. Thank you so much for the pattern and instructions, I shall be making boats for my young grandson’s bedroom in the new year, he is just about to go into a ‘big boy’s bed’ and needs all the encouragment he can get – he likes his cot. MAY 2021 – ANN WOOD HANDMADE Measure 1 and 3/4 inches from one end of the TP roll and mark a line. Cut as shown- make a straight cut from the longer side to the line and then around the line. 3. 4. 3. Cut the roll in half – marked in red. 4. The 1 and 3/4 inch tube will be the center of the APPLE CORE SEWING PATTERN 1. 2. 1. Cut out 3 center pieces and two top/bottom circles. Draw the seam allowance on the wrong side of all pieces – you can trace or use a ruler. Mark one of the center pieces with the dots on the pattern (this will be the opening for turning and stuffing). Cut out the stem and two leaf shapes. 2. DOLL OVERALLS : A FREE SEWING PATTERN Turn the overalls right side out and press. 23. Fold each side of the strap to the center and press. 24. Clip out the triangles. 2. With the wrong side of the fabric facing you fold over and press the side fabric between the triangle clips.Stitch them in place with a small, neat straight stitch. 3. HORSES – ANN WOOD HANDMADE Thread the wire through the button holes and then pass both strands through the legs and body. Thread both wires through a small button on the back, pull it tight and twist to secure and trim the extra wire with pliers. Add another piece of wire for hanging by twisting it

around the buttons.
