Let’s start with hexies : while not at all consistent, I am quite slow. The consistent part is easy to fix : commit to making one every morning, which most often leads to more, you know, once you get going on something like this PAPER MACHE BOAT PATTERN Hello Ann. Thank you so much for the pattern and instructions, I shall be making boats for my young grandson’s bedroom in the new year, he is just about to go into a ‘big boy’s bed’ and needs all the encouragment he can get – he likes his cot. HORSES – ANN WOOD HANDMADE Way back in 2006 I made 100 cardboard horses as an experiment and creative exercise – I exhibited the group in Los Angeles in 2007. I’ve added cormac and the other 16 remaining horses (some of my favorites) from the collection to my shop. PS -If you are getting snow I hope you’re enjoying it. BIRDS – ANN WOOD HANDMADE It’s surprisingly quick and easy to create a fabric crest for a cardinal or bluejay or tufted titmouse etc. etc.. The tutorial that follows was created for my songbird sewing pattern – but you could adjust the size to fit pretty much any bird pattern. DOLL OVERALLS : A FREE SEWING PATTERN 2. Mark the seam line lightly in pencil on the wrong side of the lining piece and both overall pieces. It’s also helpful to mark the front and back on the overall pieces as indicated on the pattern. APPLE CORE SEWING PATTERN 25. Stuff the bottom first, add little bits of stuffing at a time and push out the curves completely. Insert the safety pin into the channel at the top and use it to pull the ribbon through – scrunching the fabric over it. Gather your materials for building the shape – corrugated cardboard, one TP roll and an egg carton. 2. Measure 1 and 3/4 inches from one end of the TP roll and mark a line. Cut as shown- make a straight cut from the longer side to the line and then around the line. 3. 4.

MAY 2021 – ANN WOOD HANDMADE Measure 1 and 3/4 inches from one end of the TP roll and mark a line. Cut as shown- make a straight cut from the longer side to the line and then around the line. 3. 4. 3. Cut the roll in half – marked in red. 4. The 1 and 3/4 inch tube will be the center of the APPLE CORE SEWING PATTERN 1. 2. 1. Cut out 3 center pieces and two top/bottom circles. THE ELEGANT RAG DOLL SEWING PATTERN AND A FREE AND EASY 1. Down load the skirt pattern and pin it along the fold of your doubled fabric – right sides together – and cut out. Clip out the triangles. 2. With the wrong side of the fabric facing you fold over and press the side fabric between the triangle clips.Stitch them in place with a small, neat straight stitch. 3. HORSES – ANN WOOD HANDMADE Thread the wire through the button holes and then pass both strands through the legs and body. Thread both wires through a small button on the back, pull it tight and twist to secure and trim the extra wire with pliers. Add another piece of wire for hanging by twisting it around the buttons.
