COMMUNITY & CARE DURING COVID-19 Sustaining our community life. We want all church members to be part of our community in a way that works for them. We want to do this, wherever possible, through adding this dimension to the existing natural groupings they are already in (e.g., choir, Wellsprings, 09:30congregation).

ADVENT & CHRISTMAS SERVICES Advent has become something of a “forgotten” season, bustled aside by Christmas. While Christmas invites us to remember Jesus’ first coming, Advent draws our attention forward to when He comes again. How does that perspective form our living in the here and now? We invite you to our CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT on Sunday, 8 December at 7.30 pm. This will be followed by Gluhwein and Stollen. Be part of our REVERSE ADVENT campaign! Instead of taking something out of an Advent calendar put something in a box each day. Start before Advent (17 November) to ensure we can collect as much as we can by 15 December (“Tell the Story” – see below) to share with people at Fondation Maison de la Porte Ouverte .Click here
for a list of suggested foodstuffs etc. Our normal Sunday Services continue throughout December but with some variations, being aware that many in our international community travel and welcome guests at Christmas-time. Join us on Sunday, 15 December at 11.00 am on for “TELL THE STORY” – carols, readings and activities for all ages followed by Bring andShare lunch.
On Wednesday, 18 December we celebrate LIGHT FOR THE DARKNESS and pause to pray for our world, our loved ones, ourselves. Drop by St Alphonse Church throughout the day. There will be a short service at 7.00 pm with the English-speaking RC and All Nations Churches. On Christmas Eve at 4.00 pm the CHRISTINGLE SERVICE is a great way to begin this exciting time for children. You are invited to support the work of the Children’s Society. MIDNIGHT COMMUNION WITH TRADITIONAL CAROLS ON CHRISTMAS EVE (11.00 pm) leads us into the celebration of the birth of Jesus on Christmas Day. We have just one SERVICE ON CHRISTMAS MORNING AT 10.30 AM, a simple Holy Communion Service for all ages -------------------------Click here
