This might be spray, or paint brush and roller. Give the siding a second coat. The original lemon yellow needed several coats to fully cover everything. Paint the shutters and re-hang them. Paint the trim and put all the downspouts back up. Check the house for any missed spots. Pour yourself a glass of rosé andenjoy!
DIY HANGING DAYBED: PART 1 DIY Hanging Daybed: Part 1. The best part of warmer weather is porch drinking, and the best part of porch drinking is porch swings (also pink wine). While our porch has a sitting area off to the right, the left side was a big gaping hole just begging for a DIY hanging daybed. Ideally, I wanted this to feel like an actual daybed situation, but FABRIC DYING 101: STOVETOP TECHNIQUE Pre-wet your fabric and add to the dye bath. Raise the temperature to a simmer, just below boiling. For cotton, linen, and rayon dissolve one cup non-iodized salt in hot water and add to dye bath. For silk add 1/3 cup white vinegar. Maintain the simmer and stir frequently for 1/2 hour. After 30 minutes, turn off heat and remove fabric. As I mentioned in my last fence/gate update post,
I helped Erika attach a wood fence to the chainlink fence in her backyard. The process was similar to when I converted a chainlink fence to a wood fence, except in this case, we left the chainlink fence intact. This method is a good option if you want to add a little more privacy to your yard or camouflage a chainlink fence while you wait to save up for a completely new fence.
