The City of Alpharetta will open the northern extension of its Big Creek Greenway to use by the general public beginning Friday, May 28. The new segment of the 14-mile trail has been under construction since February 2020. The Municipal Court hears and adjudicates cases involving possible violations of City Ordinances and certain state laws. The Municipal Judge shall maintain law and order in the City to resolve disputes and to comply with the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution and laws of the State of Georgia, and the Charter and Code of Ordinances of the City of Alpharetta. The Mayor shall be the chief executive of this city. He shall possess all of the executive and administrative powers granted to the city under the constitution and laws of the State of Georgia, and all the executive and administrative powers contained in this charter. You MUST request the service 72 hours in advance of your normal pickup day and advise exactly what is being picked up.
