COVID-19 NOTICE

Update: 09/11/2020

The SHOP in Alfrick is still very much open, alive, and kicking, from 9 till 5 weekdays and 9 til 12 weekends, serving the needs of the local community. There’s a wide range of stock including flour, yeast, bread, eggs, local meat, fresh and frozen fish, groceries, beers and wine, pet food, and lots of lovely local fruit and

vegetables.

Customers can now enter the shop at a maximum of 3 at a time (including Post Office customers) and payment is made through a hatch in the screen at the counter. However, any customers who would prefer to stay outside will still be served at the door by a volunteer “personal shopper” who does the shopping for them, and payment can be made through the window. Payment by card is preferred and home deliveries can be arranged for those in need on 01886 832862 . We have taken great care to ensure our customers’ safety with perspex screens at the counter, hand sanitiser at the door, and masks must be worn at all times by staff and customers. There are also masks for sale if anybody should need one. We’ve also introduced a one-way system with an exit through the back door. The POST OFFICE is operating from 11:30 am till 4 pm on weekdays. Sadly the CAFE remains closed for the time being but kitchen volunteers are making cakes, hot drinks, and sandwiches as takeaways for sale in the shop. Check our Facebook page
