The jack-up operation took place one day after the roll-up and utilised ALE’s Mega Jack 800 jacking system. This is the first time the Mega Jack 800 has been used in the UK. To perform the jack-up, suction buckets were positioned under each of the jacket legs and SPMTMEGA JACK 300

ALE transported the transformers over gradients of up to 14% and this was further complicated by road surfaces made up of loose materials. This was the heaviest steam turbine generator to ever be installed in Indonesia. The building’s design meant ALE needed to design a bespoke solution for the installation of the generator. It needed to be carefully lifted 16m high, manoeuvred and then FIRST WIND TURBINE INSTALLATIONS IN AUSTRALIA USING TOWER Lincoln Gap Wind Farm was the first project in Australia to use tower cranes to install wind turbine generators. It was also the first time this type of turbine had been installed anywhere in the world for Senvion and Nexif Energy using tower cranes.
