We are committed to the Fear Free Veterinary Initiative which elevates the standards of providing low stress and species-specific enrichment at the veterinary visit by incorporating fear free protocols. Our goal is to provide your pet with gentle, loving,stress-free care.
We realize that a trip to a veterinary hospital can cause feelings of fear, stress, and anxiety. These feelings not only affect the emotional wellbeing of your pet, but they can also have medical effects and cause behavioral issues. We at the Animal Hospital of North Asheville strive to make each visit a happy and stress-free visit from the living room to the exam room, and back home again. Our staff has undergone specialized Fear Free Certification and yearly medical continuing education to help create protocols and a low-stress veterinary environment so that your dog, cat, puppy, or kitten will benefit from and you can rest easy knowing that your pet is receiving the best care available in WNC.
