COLLABORATIVE PHD PROGRAMME The Collaborative PhD Programme (CPP) in Economics was launched in December 2002 with the primary aim of strengthening teaching and research capacity in sub-Saharan African countries, increasing the pool of potential researchers and policy analysts, and gradually building-up and retaining African scholars in COLLABORATIVE MASTERS PROGRAMME The aim of the Collaborative Masters Programme (CMAP) is to enhance the capacity of mid-level economic managers and policy analysts, as well as to produce first class students interested in careers in academia.
