From First Lake to Fifth Lake, the waterway is continuous and lined with summer cottages. Sixth and Seventh Lake are also connected. At the edge of Eighth Lake, a one-mile carry connects you to Raquette Lake and northern routes. Old Forge Ponds marks the start of the NorthernForest
LONG LAKE | ADIRONDACK EXPERIENCE Long Lake is simply a widening of the Raquette River and is very long, making the name for it quite accurate. Long Lake, being so long, has been divided into a North and South section which is split by Route 30 and the Village of Long Lake.UTOWANA LAKE
The shallow nature of Utowana Lake gives it a feel unlike many other lakes in the Adirondacks. The shoreline is 4.7 miles long, the lake is 300 acres in size, and has a mean depth of 12 feet. This is a fairly well sheltered pond where wind is not much of an issue. While motorboats are not forbidden the chances of seeing one are very small.AUGER FALLS LOOP
