DOOR!
DIY AQUA STORAGE CABINET Some 1/4in plywood made up the back of the cabinet. We attached the plywood to the 1×12 frame and the 1×10 shelves for extra stability. To make the cabinet look more finished we created some faux crown moulding with some 1×2’s and 1×4. Now for the doors. We used 3/4in plywood for the doors and cut 1/4in plywood into strips to add some DIY WASHER & DRYER PEDESTAL The wife found this on Pinterest, and we both thought it was a TERRIFIC idea! I’m putting together materials and plans to build this for our laundry room, but am curious about how you attached the “frame” to the 4×4 legs. LAUNDRY ROOM BOARD AND BATTEN 6in x 1in pine board/s. 3in x 1in pine boards. White caulking. Nails/nail gun. Paint. Hooks (optional) To an extent, the amount of supplies you will need will depend on how big of an area you will be putting up your board and batten. The wall that I was putting mine on was a fairly small area so I didn’t need a lot of lumber, paint, etc.
WINDOW FRAME WOOD SIGN I love putting vinyl sayings on windows with intact glass and that inspired this Window Frame Wood Sign. First we cut a very thin piece of finished plywood to fit inside of the window opening. Then I stained it with some Minwax stain in Special Walnut. While that was drying I painted the window frame a pretty aqua color. SALVAGED DOOR ENTRY TABLE It’s no secret I love salvaged goodies like windows, doors, and architectural accents. I’ve been wanting to make an entry table out of an old door for sometime now. I finally got the motivation and just happened to have everything I needed to get it done! Supplies I used: -Old door. -2 spindles for legs. -Salvaged wood for table top.PICKET FENCE ARROWS
Enter my Picket Fence Arrows. As I was wandering my stockpile of crafty bits in the garage I stumbled upon a bucket of cut off picket fence pieces. They were once part of a fence panel like the one I made above. However this panel was old a weathered. The bottom pieces of the fence boards had been used for other projects. WINE BOTTLE HURRICANES The truth is, I don’t like wine. Or at least I haven’t found one that I do like. BUT I do love wine bottles and corks! Not that long ago I bought a bottle cutter for this very purpose, it did take some time to get up the nerve to attempt to cut the bottoms off of the VINTAGE DROP LEAF KITCHEN TABLE Of course I painted the vintage table! I used some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White for a creamy white makeover. I wanted to work with the shabby look of the table so of course I distressed the table with some sandpaper. I decided to try some Polycrylic on my drop leaftable.
