STARTING SEQUENCES ON NULL SEQUENCER? Hi, All - I have seen examples of sequences started on a null sequencer of the form: seq.start(null). How is a sequencer specified for these sequences? Thanks. Regards - Cliff USING TLM2 BUT NOT GENERIC PAYLOAD Technically speaking, yes (if you implement some subset, actually used by the convenience sockets). On the other hand, the convenience sockets assume that you actually use the TLM-2.0 base protocol (i.e. the tlm::tlm_base_protocol class) as TYPES parameter. This implies thegeneric payload.

PHILIPP A. HARTMANN AWARDED THE ACCELLERA 2020 TECHNICAL EXCELLENCEAWARD
Philipp A. Hartmann, a key contributor to the advancement of the SystemC language standard, was presented with the Technical Excellence Award at DVCon U.S. during the Accellera-sponsored luncheon. “Philipp has been an invaluable, active member of Accellera for many years, driving the evolution of the SystemC standard as well as being one of the most crucial contributors to the code development of the SystemC reference implementation,” stated Martin Barnasconi, Accellera Technical Committee Chair. “The unique combination of his leadership skills, as well as his profound knowledge of the C++ and SystemC language, has made him one of the most prolific and noteworthy developers over the last decade to the SystemC standardization efforts in Accellera. With Philipp’s dedication, the SystemC community has been rewarded with a feature-rich and robust standard.” The award was established to recognize the outstanding achievements of an individual among Accellera’s working group members and their significant contributions to the development of its standards. SYSTEMC AMS USER GUIDE The SystemC Analog/Mixed-signal (AMS) Working Group has released its user guide for those who would like to use SystemC AMS extensions for their system-level design and verification work. It is meant as an introductory guide for electronic system-level engineers and architects; it explains the modeling fundamentals and gives examples on how to start with AMS system-level design at higher levels of abstraction. For more information on SystemC AMS and to download the new user guide, visit the SystemC AMS Working Grouppage.
