THE ABANDONED HENRYTON STATE HOSPITAL (HENRYTON, MD): ONCE Finally demolished in 2013, Henryton State Hospital had become one of the most over-traveled, busted out wrecks of an abandoned site on the east coast. It wasn't always that way; there was a period before all the windows were broken and all the walls were tagged, before the theater was burned. By Matthew Christopher of Abandoned America. The interiors of abandoned grain elevators can be very uninteresting subjects; aside from the bottoms of the silos and the rooms at the very top (which frequently are long empty halls, having been stripped of their machinery). The Buffalo Grain Silos, however, had old conveyor belts, wooden shelves, and many otherremnants.
