What I started with on my turbo: Parts needed: Manual Porsche 996 steering wheel (if you want to get rid of the tiptronic switches) AMG C63 paddle switches: A171 267 00 46 I got them from Inchcape Mercedes for £122delivered.

Reading around looks like it is not universally successful but works for me. After a half way ston on a long run today, I noticed the the shifter from Park to reverse, neutral and Drive has become very stiff. The drivers door seal - This was hard to identify but easy to fix with weather strip sealant. 2.
