year seven students will have their first High School experience on Monday 8 April. They will walk to Modbury High school to experience a tour of a high school setting. Wehope they can attend this tur even if they are attending a different high school. Permission notes went homelast week.
Many high schools have the same resources and similar settings. The aim of the visit is to see a high school in action, ask questions of the leaders and to see the process for movement and lessons around anew setting.
The students will get a tour of the school in small groups (usually by ex-Ardtornish students) and have a chance to ask any questions about general high school subjects/procedures/content. The year 6 students will b taught by Deb while the Year 7's are away. Please feel free to email us if you have any questions.dgehling@ardps.com

We have discussed these organisational matters with children, they have had notes in their diaries and the details were on the forms that went home, but, here are the final reminders for camp this Tuesday:*
Packing list is posted below. * Children need packed Recess and Lunch for the fist day in disposable wrapping. * Pack bathers, water shoes and water top & shorts at the top of your case as you need them straight away. * Name all of your belongings! Tea Towels become communal for dishes so please label them. * Arrive at school by 8.30 and line up luggage for under the bus out the front of the school without blocking the footpath. * Bring your baked goods (if you've bot brought biscuits), pillow, HAT and anything you require on the bus into the classroom. * Give medication for camp to Mrs Hall on arrival for checking. * Children should bave a sleping mat/blow up mattress/stretcher to sleep on. Pumps will be available to use. * NO NEED TO BRING ANY ELECTRONICS, any phones coming to camp must be checked in with Mrs Hall on arrival. Parents wanting to contact children may ask for Mr G/Mrs Hall's numbers. * We will post regularly on Google+ to update you on activities. * Children may need to bring props for Red Faces. Any questions/issues, plase email us ASAP so we can sort them outwith you.
