It doesn't even feel like there is a suppressor on the end of the gun, it is so light and it's astonishingly quiet.

Accurate as can be (.5 inch groups common) very fast and near impossible to blow your gun up with. If there is one problem with it is it can be a little dirty in an AR. From a longer barrel 20" + with a 2760fps mv, you hit 2000fps at 325yds. BUFFER AND BUFFER SPRING? The AR15 bcg is designed for 223 and other rounds with lower recoil then the Grendel. With a rifle-length buffer system, standard rifle buffer often works just fine. With a carbine system, H3 carbine buffer is recommended more than any other. With either 18 VS 20"

I wanted a 16" for my lilja barrel, but settled for a 20". montana. ZERO DISTANCE USED AND WHY??? Up to 1000 yds what are people using for zero distance regarding ballistic calculations. I have some experience with 308 WIN using JBM and have always used 100 yds. The numbers have been pretty close. Soon to be throwing Hornady 123 AMAX out of my Grendel that way and am wondering people's thoughts. Thanks FAVORITE AR COMP LOADS? RELOADING 6.5 GRENDEL WITH H-335, OPINIONS Reloading 6.5 Grendel with H-335, opinions. I am new to Grendel reloading, and would like group opinions on the success of using H-335 as a propellant. H-335 is a powder I have used with great success in reloading 5.56. I only have 1 reloading book with Grendel recipes, and have downloaded the recipes from this forum, and both have H-335 recipes.
.263 DIA BULLETS
Hey guys, I was out on one of my scrounging trips this week and was in an old gun store, they had a lot of boxes of old Speer and Sierra bullets that were marked .263 diameter. Well since I have a couple of different 6.5mm guns and they were dirt cheap I bought a bunch of them, the Speer are 120gr and 140gr and the Sierra are 87gr. What do you guys think of using these for fire forming? WHAT IS THE BEST BUFFER TO USE? I head that this was discussed on the old site, but alas, it is all gone. So, I will ask you all, what is the best buffer for the Grendel? I heard that people have had issues with hydraulic buffers. Since the Grendel is a bit hotter of a round, should I get a heavier buffer to slow down the action and delay unlocking? Bwild97 had some 10rd groups with the 142gr SMK that were under 1/2 MOA, using his J&T 1/9 twist 24" barrel. Barrel length is related to this, because spin stability is affected by velocity. LASER BORESIGHT ROUND FOR THE GRENDEL? My Aimshot Laser Boresight 7.62x39 arbor I have works fine for the 6.5 Grendel, as well as my Dad's 220 Swift. Just a thought. Looking for max velocity out to 1000 yds. I have 8208, 2520, CFE and Varget. My gun likes the 2520 and Varget with the 123 AMAX but cannot get the 123 Scenar to work with anything. Also the 8208 won't work with either of the 123's. Have not tried the CFE with any bullet yet.
