WIFE KILLER BORCE RISTEVSKI'S PRISON SENTENCE INCREASED TO 13 YEARS Wife killer Borce Ristevski’s prison sentence has been increased to 13 years with a non-parole period of 10 years. Ristevski was sentenced to serve nine years with a non-parole period of six years for killing his wife Karen Ristevski at their Avondale Heights home in June 2016 before dumping her body in bushland. The DPP launched an appeal against the sentence earlier this year, and argued it was manifestly unjust. Chief Justice Anne Ferguson handed down the Court of Appeals decision on Friday, announcing the sentence would be extended because Ristevski showed a lack of remorse by dumping his wife’s body between two logs, and lying to police for years.
