Dalmigavie is the perfect place for a family holiday. The main house overlooks the river and is spacious and comfortable. THE HIGHLAND MIDGE
Firstly, midge season is in the height of the summer, from mid-May to September. So, if you are visiting us at any other time of year, you will not be bothered by them. Also, midges are tiny, much smaller than mosquitoes. So their bites are usually more irritating than painful, unless you tend to have severe reactions to insect bites. IN SEARCH OF THE REAL DUN BONNET The exact site of the cave is difficult to locate. Even the one they used for filming the Outlander series has not been revealed. However, we had a vague idea of its location, deep into the woods near Foyers.
