RECENT SIGHTINGS
On our two trips today combined we found ~250 long-beaked common dolphins, 1 fin whale, 2 minke whales, and 2 Mola mola. The sightings along with nice conditions, made it a great day to be out on the water. -Ryan. They can also be spotted at any time, feeding along our deep-water banks. Throughout the year Fin Whales, Humpback Whales and Minke Whale can be spotted off the coast of San Diego at any time. Although this makes them a little less predictable PRIVATE CHARTER BOATS SAN DIEGO All entertainment must have proof of full insurance with our company named as additionally insured. Restrooms. We have two single use, unisex restrooms. Location. The Privateer is located at 1617 Quivira Road, San Diego, CA 92109. Parking is available around the ticket office in marked areas. WHALE WATCHING SPECIALS 3 hour whale watching cruise. Narration by a certified marine biologist. Tickets are $35 for all passengers. Offer can not be combined with any other offer or discount. Blue whales + Sunsets = INCREDIBLE! We had a fun time on the water enjoying the sights of the coastline and big spouts on the horizon. Once on the drop-off we cruised to the southwest and found FOUR Blue whales circling the area. FRIDAY, JUNE 11, 2021 On our one trip this afternoon we encountered multiple feeding pods of long-beaked common dolphins on the way out and about 12 miles from shore we encountered 1 blue whale that consistently lifted its flukes for us on each dive!OUR COMPANY

May 6, 2021. We had a very exciting tour this afternoon, going the distance; 10 miles from Mission Bay! During our adventure, we got to see several hundred long beak Common dolphins. They were spread out for a couple miles in a feeding frenzy with many birds and sea lions. To top off our tour, we had a wonderful encounter with the second WHALE WATCHING SPECIALS 3 hour whale watching cruise. Narration by a certified marine biologist. Tickets are $35 for all passengers. May 9, 2021. We had two more amazing trips today! During the 12pm tour, we set out to the west and hung out with ~100 Long-beaked Common dolphins! Super energetic as they zoomed over to bow-ride and surf in our wake. We continued on and found FOUR Fin whales, 13-miles from shore! Our afternoon had 6 fin whales, and our sunset trip had a handful of feeding long-beaked common dolpins and 1 fin whale that would not leave us alone, popping up all around the boat, not letting us leave! Over two trips we had 2 fin whales, a humpback whale, short-beaked and long-beaked common dolphins and inshore and offshore bottlenose dolphins. We even had an encounter with a northern elephant seal!-Ryan.
SUNDAY, MAY 16, 2021 On our afternoon trip today we traveled about 12 miles out before finding a fin whale and a pod of ~50 short-beaked common dolphins. While we were with the fin whale we spotted another one just a bit further to the north.SUNDAY, MAY 9, 2021
